Become a member of the Dutch Royal Mathematical Society KWG!
KWG members receive the magazine Nieuw Archief voor Wiskunde four times a year. Members receive a discount on the admission price of the Dutch Mathematical Congress and the 'Wintersymposium'. Members can also join sister organizations such as the American Mathematical Society, the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, and the Association for Statistics and Operations Research at a discounted rate.
The KWG offers mathematics students (including teacher trainees) a free one-year membership, immediately after obtaining their Propaedeutic certificate, their Bachelor's degree, or their Master's degree. You can register with the form that was handed out during the exam, or by using the form or email options mentioned above.
If you wish, you can also arrange the following matters via the KWG:
- Subscription to Pythagoras, a math magazine for young people of the KWG: € 35, -
- Subscription to Indagationes Mathematicae, an Elsevier publication for the KWG: € 150 (strongly reduced rate).
As a member of the KWG you can become a member of the European Mathematical Society for half price: € 25, - (€ 50, - normal)
