Op 7 en 8 april 2026 organiseren het KWG en onze zusterverenigingen uit België (BMS) en Luxemburg (SML) gezamenlijk het BeNeLux Mathematical Congress (BMC) in Antwerpen. Het programma omvat vier plenaire lezingen, posterpresentaties en diverse parallelle sessies.

Op het BMC zullen verschillende onderdelen terugkomen die normaal gesproken een plek hebben op het NMC, zoals de Brouwer-lezing, de uitreiking van de KWG Posterprijs en de algemene ledenvergadering van het KWG. Meer informatie volgt binnenkort. Houd ook de BMC-pagina op de website van de BMS in de gaten.

Enkele onderdelen, waaronder de KWG PhD-prijs en de Indagationes Mathematicae Best Paper Award, zullen niet op het BMC plaatsvinden. Hiervoor wordt in het najaar van 2026 een speciale KWG-middag georganiseerd.

Voor het BMC kunnen al voorstellen voor parallelle sessies worden ingediend. De deadline hiervoor is 30 september 2025. Meer informatie vindt u hier.

On April 7 and 8, 2026, the KWG and our sister organisations from Belgium (BMS) and Luxembourg (SML) will jointly organize the BeNeLux Mathematical Congress (BMC) in Antwerp. The program will include four plenary lectures, poster presentations, and various parallel sessions.

Several elements that are typically part of the NMC will be featured at the BMC, such as the Brouwer Lecture, the awarding of the KWG Poster Prize, and the general assembly of the KWG. More information will follow soon. Keep an eye on the BMC page on the BMS website.

Some elements, including the KWG PhD Prize and the Indagationes Mathematicae Best Paper Award, will not take place during the BMC. A special KWG afternoon session will be organized for these in the fall of 2026.

Proposals for parallel sessions at the BMC can already be submitted. The deadline is September 30, 2025. More information can be found here.
