Mededeling van het KWG- Bestuur ----------------------------------------------------------------- Vrijwilligers gezocht voor het vertalen van `Mathematical Moments' --posters van de American Mathematical Society in het Nederlands De American Mathematical Society heeft tijdens het komende Fifth European Congress of Mathematics in de RAI in Amsterdam (www.5ecm.nl) een stand waar, naast publicaties en ander materiaal, een serie kleine posters op A4-formaat, genaamd 'Mathematical Moments', gratis verkrijgbaar zullen zijn. Deze serie kan online bekeken worden op http://www.ams.org/ams/mathmoments.html. Een aantal van deze posters is vanuit het Engels in verschillende andere talen vertaald, maar nog niet in het Nederlands. De AMS heeft het KWG gevraagd of er leden zijn die geinteresseerd zijn om te helpen bij het vertalen van deze posters in het Nederlands. Deze worden dan tijdens 5ECM beschikbaar gesteld en het KWG is van plan deze ook bij andere gelegenheden te gaan gebruiken. Per poster gaat het om ca. 200 woorden.
