De congresorganisatie heeft er alles aan gedaan om een aantrekkelijk en gevarieerd programma samen te stellen met voordrachten o.a. door: Hendrik Lenstra (UL), Henk van der Vorst (UU en CWI), Robert O'Malley (Microsoft Research, USA), Jennifer Chayes (Univ. Washington, USA) en Manindra Agrawal (Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur), de man die verantwoordelijk is voor het vinden van een polymiaal priembewijs-algoritme. Verder is er een forumdiscussie over `Realistisch rekenen versus abstract denken' (met o.a.
