Kopij kan worden gestuurd naar medwg@cwi.nl; agenda-items kunnen ook worden aangeboden via de website www.wiskgenoot.nl Mededelingen van het Bestuur ============================ Extra Algemene Ledenvergadering over de uitgeverij ``Epsilon Uitgaven'' ====================================================================== Het KWG-bestuur heeft tijdens de bestuursvergadering van 17 augustus 2005 het voornemen uitgesproken om per 1 januari 2006 over te gaan tot het aankopen van de uitgeverij ``Epsilon Uitgaven'' via een speciaal daartoe opgerichte stichting. Het bestuur wil zijn voorgenomen besluit tijdens een extra Algemene Ledenvergadering toelichten en ter bekrachtiging voorleggen aan de leden, en wel op: woensdag 5 oktober 2005, om 17 uur in zaal 204 op de locatie Janskerkhof 15A te Utrecht. Vooruitlopend op goedkeuring door de leden is op 5 juli 2005 de Stichting Epsilon opgericht, en op 28 juli 2005 een voorlopige koopovereenkomst gesloten tussen deze stichting en de uitgeverij. Nadere informatie (de Stichtingsakte van de Stichting Epsilon en de toelichting ``Epsilon: Stichting en Uitgeverij samen op weg'') is binnenkort te vinden op de website van het KWG (http://www.wiskgenoot.nl) en ook opvraagbaar bij de secretaris van het KWG (wiskgenoot@wiskgenoot.nl). Bij hem kan men ook een machtigingsformulier opvragen voor het uitbrengen van een stem met betrekking tot het voorgenomen besluit van het bestuur. Bereikbaarheid per openbaar vervoer. Janskerkhof ligt op ongeveer 600 meter afstand van het Centraal Station Utrecht: sla vanaf Vredenburg de Lange Viestraat in; deze gaat achtereenvolgens Potterstraat en Lange Janstraat heten en de laatste komt uit op het Janskerkhof; het adres in kwestie is links van de kerk, op de hoek van de Boothstraat. De bussen 3,4,8 en 11 vertrekken vanaf het Centraal Station en hebben een halte op het Janskerkhof. Deze aankondiging wordt per post toegezonden aan de KWG-leden van wie bij de ledenadministratie geen email-adres bekend is. Statuten ======== Op 8 september 2005 zijn de statuten van het KWG bij notariele akte gewijzigd. De aangebrachte wijzigingen zijn tijdens de ALV van 21 mei 2005 in Gent door de leden goedgekeurd. In het bijzonder is het in 2003 toegekende predikaat ``Koninklijk'' nu officieel in de naam van het genootschap opgenomen.
